A very good friend of mine wants to do a research paper on HS for school and I want to help him. So I'm asking all my HS friends out there to help him as well. Could you please list any websites that you have found helpful to you as far as learning more, or how to treat the disease! Or if you want to share any emotions or feeling that you have about how this effects you I will be happy to forward them on to him. Thank you in advance for your help with this.

If so then here is a True story about living with HS and its devestating affects on you. Have him/her check it out too. I have no problem with him/her reading mine and while I am not the greatest at doing them I have a few and they were written when I was emotional and mostly feeling horrible so I held nothing back! lol GL to you guys! Thank you both for your entries. I really have not had the time or energy to do the research myself, so he is kinda doing this as a way to help me out and inform me as well. Like I said he is a very good friend and knows about my condition and has even seen my flare up. He knows that even tho I have this horribley wretched condition that I am still a fun caring giving genuine person. Ok enough about me... He is in college and studying to become something in the medical field. He has the time and energy to get the job done. Hopefully he will find a cure... I'm sure that is a ways off but here's hoping. If nothing else he may be able to find something that will hopefully help treat inflamation quicker. Fingers Crossed!!!!!!

http://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailym... It is the only thing that works for me. It does take some time for the wound to close, but it DOES close. I couldn't live without it. Been using it for 5 years now.
