ive used it and never had any relief from it, when im in alot of pain i take a 2 hour bath. it helps me relax and takes alot of the pain away. also if the HS is in your groin, walmart sells heat pads for menstral cramps. those are the best, the heat takes away the pain. hope this helps you.

I like to use Cortisone 10-Cooling Gel. It really cools it. You can also try Preperation H, Cooling Gel. I mostly use Neosporin on my flare-ups. I have one now to the left of my clitoris..it's very painful. I also try to use Hot compresses. It's hard to just "Wait it out" when it's that painful. Give it a shot, hope it works for you.

Plain vinegar seems to help mine. I have never tried prep h for it.
