Bactroban or Bacitracin?

Is Bactroban Only Available by prescription? Is Bacitracin equally as effective? Is it stronger than Neosporin? I've applied Neosporin to my boils, and they have shrunk considerably, but take alot longer, and I was wondering if Bacitracin is more effective. Thanks for any help.
