I cant believe I am writing about this, but then who else am I going to talk to about this!!??
Does anyone have pain in their hernia when they have a bowel movement? I wrote my doctor and she said to take colace. I just got some and it is too soon to know if it will work... I have cut down on the size of my meals and have more meals but- smaller ones and that has seemed to help a bit... If this works it would be great... I am scheduled for an endoscopy in May...If i do feel better with the colace should I cancel the procedure? I am so tired of feeling crummy!!! Posted on 03/14/08, 10:03 pm |

I get the same, also get the pain from lifting or pushing things anything that involes using the are where the hituse hernia is, Its so horrible. Take care

no i wouldnt cancel the procedure.. i almost canceled mine bc i was feeling better.. better to be safe then sorry

I get the same thing - like a pressure up in my throat. Do go ahead with the endoscopy.

yes because you are putting pressure in the chest...maybe eatting more fiber so that it comes out easier will be more helpful....
