I had hiatal hernia surgery 5 mo. ago. I had a large hernia with 1/3 of my stomach in the chest cavity. I still have pain everytime I eat and my stomach still swells up a lot. Is this normal?

" I've never had surgery myself, but it is normal for Hiatal Hernias to swell after eating, not sure about after surgery though! You should go back to your GP to let him know whats happening to you incase its not normal...Best Wishes Astra! "
