I know alot of people in recovery look down on methadone, but it saved my life. I am able to be trusted by my family now, not think about what stores I'll steal from today, can I steal a credit card from my dad? In the end I wound up living on walth st which is one of detroits bad places to be. Then one day I broke down and took the bus in clothes I'd had on almost two weeks and begged him to take me backi. He gave me a week to cloean up me mess. I kne I needed methadone because when I got clean before, I'd start to lose my motivation to do anthing. That when I knew I needed to say fuck the let them work thiuer owm issues not mine. For me methadone has saved my life. And Webshits like HARMD have not tried to talk to people. I dont look down on methadone.I myself am on suboxone and believe that they both have positives,and negatives. I hope that you stay clean and dont cross addict. I hope that I am not out of line by saying that due to your typing,and "quick closing" to your above posting that possibly you're drinking or using some other substance(s)? You really should look into some long term care.Trust me I KNOW how hard it is to stay away from other drugs while keeping clean from heroin,but in the end we are just not people who can regulate our use. I really do wish you well and hope that you stay with daily strength!
