Help is available for those people out there that want it. In the mean time how about you stop posting shit like this on here. There are plenty of people on here in various states of recovery that don't need to see this shit posted about these feelings from someone who can't wait to get paid so they can go copp and shoot up. Not very cool on your part.

Thank you Layne for saying that - listen sister, this is not the place to express how you feel when you are wanting to use, or giving the explicit details of it. You're bf is full of shit that he will get you help when he get's the money. You need to open your eyes and get help, there is plenty of FREE detox centers and treatment/rehab places out there. If you can talk stupid shit on DS, you can google to find help. Heroin and any other drugs don't make anyone a better person. What you are doing is triggering other addicts who are working extremely hard to keep and stay clean, and have the desire to work at their recovery - So until you can post something of value or use, don't post - it is terrible triggers for those that are working to stay clean.

Your thinking is all wrong!! As I just said to my Son, DRUGS HAVE NEVER BEEN THE ANSWER & NEVER WILL BE. THEY ARE THE FALSE ANGELS OF PROMISES OF A PAINLESS EXISTENCE THAT ONLY LEAD TO MORE MISERY, PAIN AND DEATH! Your looking into the eyes of misery for temporary relief, when real relief comes from within you, not from someone else, or a pill or needle! You're trying to solve a problem that promises only more pain.

I can only imagine how tempting it is to use, especially when the stuff is sitting right in front of you. the fact that you are coming onto this site tells me there is a part of you that knows the drugs are just an illlusion of "happiness" and not the real thing. It also tells me there is a part of you that wants to get clean. I am a psychologist and a drug interventionist and I am a native Texan so I am VERY familiar with Texas facilities. I can help you find a really good facility in your area and may be able to talk to the directors about a sliding fee or scholarships. I want to help because I am familiar with what different facilites offer, but you don't have to be in the field to be able to help. I feel comfortable when I say that if you would just let any of us on this site know you are ready, any of us could do the same thing as far as making phone calls and helping you get help. Look, bcolliesmom, basically said she knows of some "FREE" detox centers. Layne87666 said "help is available" implying he knows where to find it and could be a valuable tool YOU could access to get the help. TBird60 is right when he challenges your thoughts at this moment. From my perspective, it does seem you are looking for temporary relief but the addiction is just adding another layer on top of the onion. You are so young and you have a wonderful life ahead of you. Why not nip this thing in the bud now instead of ten years from now, if you make it? I know it seems as if we are coming down hard on you, but it is because alot of people on this site have their own personal experiences with addiction or work in the field of addiction. I personally have seen lives torn apart, families shattered, people sent to prison for 25 years, and death. This is your life we are talking about and everyone who replied understands the significance of that. When you are ready, let any of us know and we will be there.

We understand what you are feeling right now, and know that it helps to express your feelings, please speak to a doctor or take everybodies advice and start looking for help now before your paycheck. If youve been a couple of days without it already, then you can carry on without it if you stay strong and know you are doing the right thing. Start looking for help now please.

I understand how you feel, but you need to get yourself help dude. No one else is going to do it for you and if you truely want to stop using there are FREE detox centers and stuff so you don't have to wait until your boyfriend gets money. And I don't want to be crucified for my opinion but I think people should be able to post whatever they need to, the point of this is to help, not to diss people for expressing themselves... -hugs- Best of luck.
