Hi, I'm brie. It's 5 30 in the morning and I haven't slept because I'm too restless and sick to my stomach. I've been trying to quit for about two weeks now but I can't really go more than 24 hours without giving in because I feel so bad. Every time I tell myself that this is the last time, I just need to not be sick for now and I can deal with it tomorrow. But no, I really can't. I have plans to go get high in a couple hours. I wish I could go to a rehab or something but I've been to so many rehabs and programs in the past when I was a teenager, and I don't think my family would be willing to send me again, and that they would get mad that i'm using yet again and kick me out again. I've been using heroin off and on for five years. For a while I thought I was immune to this sickness everyone talked about. I only sniffed it until May of this year, but after I started with the needle it's a completely different story and I'm so mad at myself for not quitting when I had so many chances. It's like when I could have, I didn't want to, and now that I do want to, I can't. So anyway, does anyone have any advice about what to do? I can't tell my family. I heard there are doctors who will prescribe you medications to get rid of the withdrawals and cravings and everything but I don't know how to go about that. I really don't want anyone to know

hello, i know exactly what your goign through, i to just detoxed AGAIN after a couple of months long relaps but couldnt tell anyone i was using so i had to hide my detox which as Im sure you know is hard. I couldnt bare to tell m family i'd screwed up again. You do have options though. Go to Suboxone.com and find a dr by you. The appoinments can be a bit expensive and they usuallt only take cash but they can perscribe you suboxone and set up a plan for you to get clean. I see my dr every two weeks and each time he cuts down my dose. It's so much better then being on somethign like methadone and the detox only lasted about 3 days and with the suboxone it was complaetly barable. You can find info on suboxone on about a million sites on line. Im running late for work but i wanted to write you this. Feel free to write back. Good luck!

hi,
i have one advice if u cant go to rehab...and that is you must lower your tolerance as much as possible. first thing is dont use needles,snort it...even if u feel some wd after snorting its ok just try to feel a little better with it...even if u get ur hands on much h dont use it at once try to spread it...so thats my advice lower ur tolerance so u can cold turkey it...i know thats not fun but with your situation maybe could help

I've detoxed 5 times from herion, and lowering my tolerance never helped. And i think all needle users can agree once you start using the needle, you never go back. I've tried to do it a million times, you get a whole bunch and say you will ween your self down, but no mater if you have one bag or 30, they seem to go in the same amount of time. If you go to the dr your getting a safe and legal way to get off it. The dr will moniter your use and you don't have to be sick. Your detox will take about 4 days at the most and then youll feel fine. After that the dr will get you off of the suboxone and you can be compleatly clean. The longer you use herion the more dangerous it becomes. You don't have to feel like this, there is a different way to live.

You need to get to a doctor.The suboxone doctors are very expensive.Go to a meeting and get some advice.you can't give in to it any longer.I have a 19 yr old son that is an addict as well.He is taking the suboxone but it's a contant reminder everyday to pass out pills.He claims it's a mircle drug.I just need to know why do you think you do it?Are you depressed?I just can't understand why my son would use drugs.It's hard for me to understand why he uses????can you help???
