21 days off a 48 week treatment and my mind is frizzled and I am feeling week...but getting stronger=0)
However extremely grateful to have slain this mother fu(&*(g Dragon. getting stronger everyday. I was just wondering about my Vision again. I have asked about it on post and everyone has been so helpful and has told me that my blurred out vision will eventually even out. I was just wondering how long it might take and has anyone else's vision cleared up after treatment or has been permanently affected by treatment? I keep hoping it will come back...maybe I will need glasses now. Josh my only concern about getting glasses now would be that you don't really need them to correct vision. Wearing glasses with an inaccurate prescription could cause permanent eye damage. Is your visual disturbance so bad that you cannot see?

josh, my vision seems to be permanently affected. however my first tx attempt was at the age of 41, n my third attempt was at the age of 48. some vision loss is inevitable with age. to answer your question, yes i think your vision will return to near normal in a year or so.

I have no idea - I have found my vision getting worse but is it from tx which I finished last June or just my glass prescription getting old? And why am I too lazy to see the eye doctor? Arrrrr!

One usually gets their eyes checked every 2 years, so you really should get them checked out, it must be over 2 years since you've had your checked Josh?
Also everyone who finishes tx, should get a blood test done for diabetes. I know that just before I was first diagnosed, I had a hard time seeing with my brand new prescription glasses, Once I was diagnosed, and put on the proper medication, I could then see like before, and my new glasses were fine, it was the diabetes that affected my vision. Good luck, keep us posted.

Josh, my Hep C doc told me to get my eyes checked prior to starting treatment, half-way through treatment and at the end of treatment. If you haven't had your eyes checked, go get them checked. See an ophthamologist not an optometrist.
I'm not suggesting this because I think there's something wrong with your eyes but because it's just a good idea to have one's eyes checked because of having had treatment.
