I had my post treatment blood work on Monday. I got home yesterday to a message from my dr.'s office that said only "we got some of your labs back and they look ok". Huh?

So I called and found out the HCV PCR results were missing and the lab was still trying to find them. Now I'm paranoid, if they "find" them can I trust the reports, or should I demand a do over?

I am so tired of the screw ups I've encountered on this treatment.

" Same thing happened with me. I drove 200 miles to see the Dr and the PCR test was not with the rest of it. I called the Dr yesterday and they didn't have it. I called the lab, they are going to send it today.
I hope your results are undie! "

" Lynn hunni, if you took your PCR test Monday, well it won't be in until 10 to 14 days after.
This is a special blood test, that needs to be frozen and done a few things with it, so it take longer than the usual blood work you apparently received, which do not take time for those....
So try to be patient, they will come in. "

" As you know, Lynn, we live close by. It takes two to three weeks for my viral loads to come back. "

" OMG I cannot even imagine having to wait so long. I live in a huge medical hub so am a bit spoiled having access to things differently than other folks. Sometimes I take it for granted that others have big struggles where good health care is concerned. I am so sorry for the stress this is causing you Lynn. No one should be treated poorly when dealing with an illness. It is simply unprofessional. "
