jack i quit drinking about 4 yrs ago also. it sucks. in fact its the suckinest suck that ever sucked. im kidding, your absolutely right, life is better than booze. congrats on your 4 years , very few people give up booze without professional help. you should be proud of yourself. :)>

just get a beautiful wine glass and put grapejuice in it.

I took a sip or two of wine, while on tx,(once) and I'm going to stress about it for the next six months to my VL test. It's not worth it.

i got riteously plastered on a jet trip while on tx. i gambled it would be a one time thing. my dr said it wasnt a big deal where tx is concerned, meh ? how often do ya get to fly to see a new g- baby. youll be fine becky.

sorry no alcohol at all, i am surprized that you are even considering it. your liver needs yoiu to abstain

My wife came up with a drink that tastes better to me than any mixed drink or wine ever did. Sprite with some grapefruit juice poured on top. Very refreshing and got rid of my dry mouth.

Thanks guys the only reason I asked was that my Dr said an occasional drink (1 am month) would be ok, but from your responses I realize this would be fool hardy so i will not be tempted, perhaps Drs in the uk have different ideas. Also I am trying to upload a photo but it never seems to work any tips?

Uploading a pic? Go to "profile" and click "edit" - then underneath your avi you click "upload picture" and upload one from your computer. If it is too big you might have to resize and make it smaller for it to upload.
