Yea I did only for a little bit and then they went away. Mine wasn't strep so I dunno. Good thing to go to the doc like kary said it may be strep throat. Hope you feel better! Until then take two teaspoons of honey and lemon a day it'll sooth your throat alot!

If you still have you tonsils
it might be a bacteria infection

rinse with warm salt water, it will burn but the throat will feel better and heal faster.

When my throat gets sore, I chew on crystallized ginger, by Reeds. Stuff is slighty hot and sweet and coats the throat nicely. Comes in bags at the health food store.

16 oz for about $7 I think.

Ginger also helps with nausea and motion sickness.
