Hi There Everyone, :)
I'm a new single-Mom to a just-turned 4 yr. old. Thankfully I just got notice that I got the job as an on-site Mini-Storage Manager, it's a relief, it'll be hard but I can do it. Lots of changes, but it was an abusive situation w/my child's Father, so I had no choice but to end-it. Unfortunately he still drinks all the time w/Hep. C; but what can ya' do? I'm going to apply for Medicaid. The question(s) I have are 1) Will they cancel my Medicaid/(or whatever they may call it here locally) if they find-out I already knew I had Hep. C? IF not, I have records; i.e.- lab results, bioposy done w/my genotype (btw, I can't remember the EXACT name of the genotype, but I do remember the Dr. saying I had "the best one of the worst" whatever one that is...also, there was barely any scarring. However, she said I should get the interferon/rib.(sp.?) treatment soon, BUT my Medicaid in that state ended, my ex made too much money (not really a lot, ya' know how that is) to allow me to qualify again..........So...of course whomever my new Dr. here in our new state ends-up I need/want to get my test results to them....ALSO, and most importantly WILL I be able to function/i.e. - WORK at my job while undergoing this treatment? I have NOONE to help me, and I'll have to work 6 days a week. ALSO, since I've only had it for around 7 yrs. do you think I can wait? Until things get easier possibly? I'm VERY strong and positive, and motivated as I'm a single-Mom, do people "trudge" through it? Thanks for ANY and ALL advice! :) And Blessings to You ALL! :) Posted on 07/05/09, 08:07 pm |

I hope I'm not guilty of stating the obvious, but even if you're not in a study, you will have lots of lab tests on a regular basis in tx.
