Well I'll be damned. I lost ten lbs in the last month. That's quite a bit for my size... have others seen similar weight loss?

" Although I lost that ten pounds in the last month, I think it was all FAT. I think I've lost muscle mass, and probably some fat. That's not such good news.

I started increasing my physical activity and, besides being very hard to do in the moment, it is helping with overall energy and outlook.

I do hope I can regain the muscle. Anyone have this happen? "

" I'm in a very similar situation, tangle. I'm 29 weeks into treatment and I've dropped nearly 15 pounds. I've always had an athletic figure so 130 is very, very light for me. I know some of it is fat because it's harder and harder to pinch my tummy for my shots. I do suspect that I've lot some muscle mass, though.

I'm still getting to yoga and going for walks but that's a far cry from where I was seven months ago. I plan to ramp up the walking for the rest of the summer. Then I'll start lifting weights gently for the last 12 weeks. "

" I started treatment on March 1st and weighed 147 lbs with only a small "belly." I have lost 20lbs since beginning TX but have been holding steady the last few weeks at 130. None of my clothes fit and I am to cheap to go out and buy new stuff until I know whether the weight is going to stay off or come right back when I finish the TX.

God bless,
Rob "

" try to keep your protein intake up, so you don't lose muscle and exercise if you can..On tx I know its hard..But when we don't use our muscles we lose our muscles..Even walking will help... "
