Well I'll be damned. I lost ten lbs in the last month. That's quite a bit for my size... have others seen similar weight loss?

" I was 119 lbs when I started treatment (5'6" tall) and I was determined not to lose any weight. It was a struggle but I have managed to maintain my weight all through the 44 weeks that I have been on treatment. To this day, I still weight 119 lbs.

I had to eat pretty much every time I thought I could possibly get something down and eventually the nausea went away after a few months on treatment. I also used Boost (a cheaper version of Ensure) to supplement my meals to get some extra calories, etc.

Your weight loss is probably a bit more than the norm but I do know that it does happen. Try to do the best you can to minimize continued weight loss of that caliber so that you don't lose more strength too. "

" I lost a lot of weight at first. Now I am 12 pounds lighter than when I found out that I had HEP C. I figure that since I am not drinking all the beer at the bar that certainly has been a factor. No calories in water , lots of calories in gobs of beer....Eat whatever you can to keep your weight from getting too low as I allowed in the beginning. " Then you probably weigh less than some of the rocks you have to carry to be a stone mason. I did that s**t for a couple of months. Those rocks weigh 50 lbs + for the type of work we did. I can't imagine doing it now, much less weighing what I did in high school. "
