Just read an article in the "Parade" with an insert section on "Inspiration". Living your life with cancer. Neulasta is a prescription-only injection. Neulasta is for most patients receiving interferon which can lower white blood cell count. Neulasta boosts your white blood cell count to help with fatique, mental fogginess and cope with sadness from the treatments. Has anybody used this or know about it?

i'm on neupogen which is filgrastim...neulasta is pegfilgrastim. i think when you see 'peg' in front of a drug it means it has something else added to it?
it makes me feel no so achey and tired.

My dr. had me take 3 neup. shots - 3 days in a row. It was not for me!!!! After that - I had to stop treatment. I wish there was something else that could have helped with my white count- he said there wasn't and it was time to stop my treatment! Worried about that! :(( !!!
