After-noon Everyone,
I have now hit a new low!! While I was at work this morning I peed my PANTS. Not just a dribble but a full on release. Been having some bladder problems for the last couple of months but didn't think to much of it. Woke up about 4 times last night and had to pee so bad nearly didn't make it to the bathroom (many of other nights I haven't made it) had some pressure but not alot of pain that usually goes along with a bladder infection. I know in the past though that it can start off like that and then within hours it's a full on infection. So needless to say I had to get my husband to pick me up at work and first take me home to change clothes and then off to the dr. They did a urine test and didn't see any infection but said they would send to the lab for further testing. They also have now tested me for diabeties!!!! Not happy!!! If that comes back negative I will have to go to a incontinence clinic and to some testing. I spoke to my hep nurse and apparently this is not related to the meds. I am totally stressed and not to mention humiliated.. While is was in the bathroom at work crying my eyes out my boss (who is also suppose to be my best friend) had the nerve to ask me why I was so upset and said well at least it's not lung cancer. If I could have reached out of the stall I probably would have punched her in the face. I haven't felt this lonely, depressed and scared in along time. Did you cough.......laugh....or sumptin that made you start to pee??.and instead of a tinkle it was a flood??
Did you get the urge to pee.............but it hit so fast you didn't make it to the bathroom?? Not trying to be funny here..get you some depends...where them while you are out....just to be on safe side...... Meanwhile........talk to doc about bladder "tuck"..................I had one in 1997 (right before my X was dx with Hep C..........best thing I ever did..........saved me a world of embarrassment:):) Its worth looking into if its possible for you:):) As for your boss.................it would prolly be politically incorrect to tell her to "kiss my ass".............but I would sure hope she couldn't read my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi debbesr,
No I didn't cough or laugh. It just hit so quickly I didn't have time to do anything. The dam just burst. For about 5 seconds before I knew I was going to have to make my way there but to late. As much as it breaks my heart I may have to swollow my pride and go for the depends. I will definately looking into all avenues at this point and see which one is for me. /as for my boss I am actually speechless. Thanks for your input. Debbie

awwwwww debbie, this sounds awful. so sorry this is happening to you. but like debbear said, perhaps it's related to the antidepressants? maybe you could get put on a different one?

OK, well I may have just self diagnosed my problem with your help debbear. I am on blood pressure pills tha contain a diaretic. I will have to take this up with him. Although, I have been taking these pills for years (10 at least). But worth looking into.

Could be the combination.adding the anti's to the blood pressure meds...........might just have done it:(
