I didn't want to be a negative factor for any newbies, but Kat knocked some sense in my head. She does have a way of cutting past the BS.
I finished the triple tx last week. I was undetectable at 4 weeks. 12 week VL came back at 286. Incivek rep says I have an 18% of clearing at this point. Will do a CBC every week and check VL again in 4 weeks. Cannot do a clinical trial or transplant because of active cancer. Doctor doesn't know that liver will last 3 years until new drugs come on market. We don't always get good news, but that is life. Even if tx fails I am not giving up. And I might be one of the 18%. so sorry to hear you have cancer. Gerson Institute been working miracles for ppl when treatment's have failed, not sure if you are into that kind of stuff though. It's always good to be honest or else we don't know where anyone is at. Get stuff out always helps and makes us feel better. That's the type of group i want to be part of where eveyone lays there cards on the table. I remember when i started treatment and came in here, i thought everyone was having a blast and doing treatment and i suffered in silence cause i though i was abnormal or something. I find that, it isn't the case after talking to numerous people. Hope a miracle comes your way and your in my prayers. TaKe care.

Nancy. You are one tough lady. You know that we all share the same fear. That even if we clear on early lab work, that this nasty virus will return. You are in my prayers. Thank you for your honestly. If you could be one of the 1 of 33 that got this darn thing, you can be one of the 18 of 100 that will clear at this point. Sending many hugs and hope your way.

Nancy, your plate is obviously full and overflowing...but your attitude stays way ahead of it all. You are an inspiration. Your positive attitude goes a supremely long way in helping your treatment meds along. When there's still a chance, the chance can be yours!!!
