Coffee dehydrates and depletes fluids rapidly.
Each drug on any of the tx's dehydrates the body rapidly.
plus the caffiene combined with the riba make for an insomniacs nightmare.....
or can create one quick..:)
So, one or two are the most that have been insisted upon my my physician.....

Like Jibi writes, caffeine can dehydrate you, so take in extra fluids.
Point is for Becky it will do no harm!
Re: decaf vs caf
see:
Coffee has >1000 compounds, any one of which could be involved in virologic response. One major constituent of coffee is caffeine. Although we could not distinguish caffeinated from decaffeinated coffee in our study, we found no association with consumption of black or green tea.

Upshot: If you enjoy coffee and tolerate it, you should drink it.
Prior to tx, I cut back on the coffee, drank much more water and urine was clear. way clear.
Still is.
I listen to what my HP tells me to do.
I listen to what my Dr tells me I should do.
I listen to what my heart and instinct tells me I should do.
I gave up doing what I thought I should do sometime ago.
Even if coffee keeps me up, I still feel i can tolerate it.
So, I cannot drink away as suggested.
My Dr tells me otherwise than I think, and fortunately for me, he is spot on.
