" booze kept my liver inflamed and swollen for years. if you dont drink at all the inflammation gets better every day. during tx your liver might get really irritated for a month or two but then starts cooling and feeling really great. whether tx is successful or not it gives your liver some relief time to begin regenerating. booze is just a no- go with hcv. its a tough addiction but the liver feels so good without it. good luck. if inflammation causes discomfort, lying on your back on a concrete floor will draw the heat right out of it. youll feel like a new person in about an hour.
