N.Y N.Y. is a wonderful town, however finding a psy.not co nnected to a clinic is one of the most frustrating and discougaring things anyhow if there is anyone that could help would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Try a local teaching hospital. I go to one in Hackensack, not far from you. It is a clinic but I have an assigned shrink (resident) who is supervised as far as dispensing meds. It's a clinic setting but they run it alot like a private office. I do this through Charity Care that the hospital provides me. Haven't been able to get medicaid yet.
