Took my first shot Friday...
I still have a lot of pain. Breathing pain, back pain feels like the lungs. just a constant pain in the left side back and below the ribs in front.
I don't think I could handle this unless I know that with each shot it will get better. My doctor said it would get better with each shot but I didn't think there would be this kind of pain, no rest, crying and helpless.
Thought I would feel a little better each day after shot, but not.

" My doc, too said no Tylenol. He said it is VERY hard on the liver. I have TMD and he upon my HCV diagnosis, he switched me from Percocet to oxycotin because he said Tylenol would do as much damage to my liver as drinking.
Can you afford a massage therapist? They can be very helpful with pain.
Good luck!!! "

" I take loritab I probably all ready said and some advil.
Why to you have so much pain trapshoot?

A massage therapist sounds good, maybe I can do it, wonder how much it costs?
I'm worried they might stop giving me pain meds and just leave me with advil. I don't think that is gonna work for me.
I dono why I'm worried about it they have not said anything yet, I go to see her thursday. "

" No one should take tylenol, period. It is pharmacutical poison. Certainly not with a bad liver. It is as bad or worse than alcohol, and not much different then eating toadstolls as far as damage to the liver is concerned. "

" lots of good advice here for you from everyone....hang in there! you kinda have to settle into not feeling good. i know that doen'st sound easy or cheery. hopefully you dn't have to go anywhere or do anything. i know what you mean about feeling helpless and crying. go ahead and cry cry cry. it'll make you feel better. treatment isn't easy at all. just take one hour at a time. in a couple weeks or sooner you should prob. be getting some blood tests done to see how things are? did your doctor mention when your first test would be?

after the 3rd shot the pain will lesson quite a lot but you still might feel pretty sick. (i was sick for the entire year)

be sure to drink lots LOTS of water. it's important. and come on here as often as you feel like it and talk to people. it'll help too. lots of hugs, q "
