how long will i stay yellow?

i have just been diagnosed a week a go and have went threw every test made to man but i am still so yellow everywhere i go people stare at me like im nuts or so maybe its in my head who knows ..needless to say does nayone know how long the yellow skina nadeyes last and the dark urine like almost a black color this all is very scary any advice? should i stay out of the sun does anyone know ?

you should not drink,watch what meds you take even off the shelf. start eating healthy and take milk thistle. I have never been yellow but my urine was very dark. Your liver needs a rest. I would immangine they would start you on tx right away. Take no iron or high iron foods.

My post seems to have disappeared. Jaundice is caused by too much bile in your blood stream that your liver is not removing. I don't have a yellow parlour, or dark urine, but I'm developing wolf eyes. I keep hoping to become a shape shifter, but I think it is do to cirrhosis. How long it lasts would be determined by how soon your liver recovers. Your liver can rejuvenate itself if given the chance, unless it is scarred like mine. (or maybe I p.m.ed my response, my brain is like a sieve.)

O my I know that must be scary. People always stare at me because I think I am over six feet tall I dont know. But I keep thinking my eyes are starting to look yellow but my husband says no, I hope you can get some results or answers from your Dr,

if you go out in the sun and get sunburned you will turn red. or maybe orange because you are yellow. or maybe it could turn orangy-red. or more red than orange. or you could turn into a rainbow, and find a pot of gold or a pot filled with pot......

When my oldest son was born he's billirubin was slightly elevated,(liver enzymes) causing a bit of jaundice in him..It happens sometimes after birth, he had to put under special lights in the nursery, but when I got to take him home his pediatrician told me to let him lay in full sun light through a window just in a diaper for a lil while each day, it helps getting the jaundice out of his system..just an idea for you..
