My ex needs help moving on

I was diagnosed with Hep C a few years ago and done a six month treatment of Interferon and Ribaviran. My husband at the time also was diagnosed but has refused treatment. Now we are going through a divorce and I have moved on with my life..I found someone to accept me. I told him that I had Hep C and we went and talked to my heptologist and everything is fine. My ex though doesn't understand how someone would want him with Hep C, so he wants me to find him someone that will. He is 35 yrs old. Has two biological children by me. About 6 foot. Weight about 160.

I agree with everyone else he needs to get some balls and go out on the dating scene himself. He's your ex you should tell him to find someone by himself just like you did.
There are plenty of people out there who date, love and marry others knowing they have hep c. Let him figure it out it seems like you've moved on with your life now let him.

I don't know what to say. I lost my sister last month, I have thymus cancer and my girlfriend of 15 years left today. Move on is somehow a cliche right now. Tomorrow I dread it is my 4 shot and this is my 4 attempt at tx.

Tell him to join DS himself. He needs help. We could introduce him to my elder daughter - who simply refuses to believe HepC can harm her (after being pos. for 18 years!) They'd be a fine pair. JaneD.

Maybe he needs help. Like a boot in the seat of the pants. I've never asked an ex to 'fix me up." That could be a psycho bitch from hell. I'd rather find someone I like, then be set up.
