Advice:
OK to switch from Fri to Sat shot just once?
Watch this
View More Posts Ignore
BACKGROUND:
1) I'm at dose #3 on a Fri shot schedule - this was the worst Saturday yet. Found out what the term blinding headache means: you literally can't open your eyes without increasing the crusher headache.

2) My father passed away this spring and the larger family is doing a tribute to him at the annual family reunion on Saturday, July 4th.

QUESTION: Can I switch my shot #7 from Friday to Saturday that week without risking the treatment or other ill effects?

Thanks in advance!

" The best person to consult, is your doc.
You can get 10 different answers here from 5 people.
I'm sure it will be fine, but plan it with those who hold accoountability for your treatment.
Our family reunion will be around my shot. At this rate, I don't know when I'll get sides or feel ok., but I don't have to fly with the shot, phew. "

" Great advice as always, Ptriss. Thanks!

The airports are hard enough these days without trying to carry on a loaded dragonslayer!!! but my doc volunteered that it would be no problem for him to write a script/letter that would get me on a plane no problem. "

" My doctor said it was fine, I did it a couple of times with no problems every time I flew or went out of state. Good to check with your docto to be sure. "

" Sorry for the loss of your Dad. It is very important, surely, to attend this event in his memory. You'll hope to feel well for the travel & the reunion.
Me too.
And that crusher headache, know that one. "

" I agree...ask your Dr...I switched from Sat to Sun with no problem. I also use to travel every month..and there I was with a little traveling pouch and my ice pack inside with the lovely shots. I even boarded earlier since I needed more time to get to my seat. I never got stopped. "

" Your allowed to switch at least 1-2 days ahead or 1-2 days after your normal shot day.

I switched from thursday to wednesday so by the weekend I had my energy back.

But I would try to keep it as scheduled as possible. "
