I was diagnosed with chronic HBV in July and man is it hard! It's so much to take in, but I've been trying my best to accept it; because fact is, I am always gonna have this. Now I would love to meet people who I can talk to about my problem because frankly, no one else would understand. Anyhow, I was wondering how are you dealing with this disease? And is it hard dating? I mean are there certain dating sites for people with HBV because it would be so much easier and better imo. Are there any other support groups besides for this one because I've been searching and have had no luck. I feel like I'm still so young and have so much to do but finding out about this disease has made me feel so discouraged about everything. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. And I would love to make new friends/acquaintances on here to talk to. Although I've already educated myself so much about this disease it would be nice to know that I don't have to go through this alone.

" I experience all the depression, I am HBV carrier, 2 years ago my mom and I found out we have HBV in our blood for my mom she comforted me but as the year passing by I learn all the discrimination about HBV. My career is now ruin I supposed to be a an aircraft Avonics technician I even pass the board but no one here in the philippines want me to get employed. I pass the examination for the Airlines compnay but they learn that I have a HBV in my blood and after that they denied me. A year pass again and I put up a small shop and I met a girl soon become my wife. Now I have a baby girl without HBV and my wife also did not get infected. But sadly my mom died last april 2009 because her case is more serious than I have. I am a HBV inactive carrier and if any one there want to help me to get employed is appreciated. I know someday there will be a time that people will not discriminate any one.... For those who have same condition like me, Dont loose hope coz if we loose hope we can't help ourselves. If again for any reason the lord god give me a bountiful success I am assured any one of Having Job what ever his/ her medical condition is. If any one want to contact me, to talk or anything my communication line is open. I can help you about reading your medical results. "
