I am a very responsible carrier of this burden for 8 years now, but just sought consult to a gastro-enterologist 5 years ago. I never had any symptoms at all.
My doctor said that viral infection is always self-limiting; that the magnificent human body is designed to develop antibodies to combat different viruses. We just have to stay healthy all the time so that our immune system can do its job well.
