Can someone with a zero viral load and a healthy liver (ultrasound) with cronic hep-b still be fatigued? I am having no other symptoms just had the blood work ultrasound done recently but have been feeling really tired last few months, I remember when i contracted it I was lucky enough .....lol.........to have every possible symptom from projectile vomiting thru turning yellow.....................................

Was also sooo tired some days could not get out of bed, am going to doc tomorrow and see if he thinks that's what could be, also have few other things going on so hard to separate it all out.......thanks.............Grant

" Oh well.............LOL..........the doc says he didn't think that was causing it but think I knew it could also be contributing to it, I am sure that has something to do with it as you pointed out there has been some damage over the years???? "

" In my knowledge, although fatigue is a classic textbook symptom of Hepatitis, it will only surfaces once there is already liver involvement (i.e elevated Liver enzmes and viral load) in active cases of hepatitis. It can also be associated with other ailments such as COPD (in Grantm's case) and other respiratory disorders that compromised breathing.
But nevertheless, I'd like to think that when we experience fatigue, it just tells us that we've been working too hard, worrying much, thinking a lot that we need to relax and unwind. :) "

" vacation leave is useless if the mind is in stress. How about sleeping pattern, recreation, and daily activity? maybe try to consider a past-time which doesn't involve much thinking like listening to classical music with eyes closed, laugh--watch funny/ movies/ comedy tv programs, bond with friends and family for a light conversation... our body cannot rest well if the mind remains so busy thinking many other things. you can record on video yourself while sleeping at night... so you can check if you can sleep soundly because when we sleep, we dream a lot which we can no longer recall upon waking. (I suppose you sleep alone) "

" "I suppose you sleep alone"?.........thanks...........................................LOL

Actually I sleep with our latest rescue amstaff (pit bull), my partner sleeps in the bed next to me with another amstaff. I know what ya mean tho, I am the "problem solver" in the relationship and my job is very intense and I have one of those minds that won't shut down easily but I do enjoy vegging on the sofa and watching tv..................I used to meditate back in high school and it really does work, I just haven't been able to get back into it, I should try harder.........................................thanks....................Grant "
