" my mom had been taking that med for a year or so now... she was fortunate to get awesome results from it... her viral load went from being in the millions to almost undetectable now. all treatments will work different for different individuals. i myself will be starting interferon treatment hopefully sometime soon. best of luck to you, and take care "

" Hi jmiss,
wishing you best results!!
There is a little chance that Tenofovir and other oral drugs completely get rid of virus, so there is a chance that you gonna take the drug for many years, it's main purpose is to reduce viral load from millions to undetectable like richawaii said. But if it is cut off ,there may be viral rebounds.
Consult it with your doctor,
Anyway i wish you get rid of that virus soon!! :) "

Hey ppl's I was diagnosed with Chronic Hep B in 2006 and a biopsy revealed stage two scarring of the liver. Getting access to treatment was a rough experience..... Began taking Viread in October 2008 and now as of June 19 the HB virus is now undetectable . "
