can you tell me if treatement will do me any good being that i do not have any signs of hep b? I was diagnoses in 2002. Because I was married at the time, my husband was supportive and fine with it. He thought we'd be together forever so he refused to get vaccinated. Then he died. Long before his death, I actually put it out of my memory. I found out I was born with it. I recently was
dating someone who dumped me when I told him about it. We were intimate without protection and because I forgot about it, I did not tell him. After we were together, my girlfriend was the one who reminded me of the virus that I forgot so long ago. She suggested I tell him. SO I did. And I lost him. Now that he is mortified and angry, can I do anything for myself? Like I said I do not have symptoms. I tried treatment but because I do not have symptoms I stopped.

I had hep b in the 80's and now are going to get the vaccine for it. I am starting interferon on saturday but that is for hep c.
