So here's the deal; I am a pain in the ass patient. I ask a lot of questions and refuse to give consent unless I know it is informed consent. I had a crazy day, but it ended with an inspirational moment. I haven't slept in about 48 hours (long story - will tell you some other time - but things are fine) and then I was invited at the last moment to a reception where Michael J Fox was speaking about Parkinson's Disease, his experiences and the battle to find a cure.

Well it's the first day of school, for my daughter today.
