Well, I had my appt with the anesthesiologist since they are going to have to put me to sleep to do the endoscopy. They tried to do it with conscious sedation but for some reason I had a bad reaction to it and became "combative". Wow. People always think I'm so gentle and nice even when I don't want to be. Although I know that I NEED to try to get some sleep, I just can not bring myself to lie down and close my eyes tonight. I am so afraid that I will not wake up before mom passes. Life is pretty much back to normal four months after tx....heck, even my hair is beginning to look normal. We have been working long hours to try to catch up in every way after tx plus dealing with a few of Ronald's other health issues.He's actually starting to feel good these days, at least until he fell and ripped all the tendons and muscles from his thumb. My Dr. put me on this medication for alcohal cravings. It's called Campral. It does seem to help. In the last 3 weeks I've only had 7 beers(2 one night, 5 another). My liver is hurting bad; it has affected my whole right side of my body. I continue on the milk thistle daily but I know what I really have to do; start the Interferon.
