i was diagnosed last year with " mild thickening"" some evidence of impaired filling" the dr said mild diastolic dysfunction...stress test was normal even thought i passed out during it...family dr said chest pain was stress.. and cardiologist said high blood pressure was causing the damage to the heart.. i dont have high blood pressure.. what else could be causing it?

" Mine is attributed to asthma for most of my life. That can also cause it. By the way, I passed a stress test with flying colors and 2 weeks ago had a stent put in. There was blockage that the stress test didn't find. "

" i passed out during the test .. but in time for them to put the meds in my vein .. they said .. its not a blockage you are "deconditioned"..the echo they did was basically a dud ..it said "sub optimal views "on almost everything.. but then they say .. you are fine .. nothing is really wrong with your heart ...did the asthma its self cause it ..or the steroids to treat the asthma? "

" Hi! I just wanted to comment...that Pulmonary High Blood pressure is entirely different then regular high blood pressure. Often people will have pulmonary high blood pressure without being aware of it at all. In fact, that was the case for me. "
