" Hey,
You know I live in Covington, Ga.. Just thought you would like to know. You should remember that the Beta Blocker really slows you down. My EF is up to 50% now, but I stay tired. What dosage of metroprolol do you take? "

" In Arizona if you do not work, you can get medicaid. And I found a good kidney doctor on that plan. (usually they aren't good doctors) Has your doctor taken tests to check your kidneys? It is a simple blood test. They also found that I was retaining fluid which can also explain the symptoms you describe? I ended up at the emergency room and that is where I got all the answers. Again, out here, hospitals cannot turn you away without insurance. "

" I had a major heart attack resulting from a 100% blockage. I had "widow-maker" type. That was a year ago October, and my EF was at 28% then, it got to 47% and went back down to 32%, and now I am feeling the symptoms you are describing. Yesterday I just met Dr. Tsao MD in Boston, and she basically told me this, "if I did not rid myself of SALT, I would NEVER feel better" I was retaining fluid, she doubled my lasics to 40mg per day, and just overnight I am feeling 100% better! FLUID BUILD-UP is my guess! Good Luck "

" Hey,
My husband is in almost the same situation you are in. He is 69 and fortunately we have some insurance. Medicare. But if you can get disability you should be able to get Medicare. He has had open heart surgery 2 times and stents put in and now a pace maker and defibrilator. He does not feel like doing hardly anyting anymore. Of course age does cause some of it. He is on Coreg, Lisinopril, Lasix and one I will have to get the name of. Have you tried any of these meds. Do you have fluid build up? He takes so much Lasix he cant get far from the bathroom.
Hope things improve soon. "
