I was wondering if anyone with heart failure also gets terrible nausea too sometimes? I HAVE read where nausea is a sign of heart problems (which I DO have) but I'm talking intense, constant nausea!
Does anyone else ever experience this on like a more constant basis and if so, what do they dso for it? I am diabetic as well so I'm wondering if it's not related to my blood sugars but wanted to get any advice I could on the nausea. The doctors have even prescribed me 'Compazine' for this nausea before. To me, it's not normal and they've said there is no "bowel blockage" although that WAS like 10 years ago. Hello,
I also suffer with the nausea almost daily at one point or another. Not really bad, but I do get nauseous. I'm not sure if its from the Chf or not because I'm also new to all of this. Big Hugs to you.

Nausea is unfortunately a sympton of chf, I always feel like I have the flu, I used to always eat a cracker to help the nausea, but since sodium is off limits, I find that a drink of something with carbonation, like pepsi, does seem to help

I get nauseous a lot too. I'm learning to live with it but definitely eat before taking my meds now.

I have nausea also probably up to 70% of the time. Was never sure what causes it thought it was from the meds. Also found that saliva is the bodies natural anti acid. My meds and breathing through my mouth make my mouth very dry. I sip soda and eat low sodium crackers and it helps a little.
