Wondering what some of you know about CHF. Have any of you been diagnosed with it, treated for it, gotten better or over it? What meds do you take for it? Has your fraction ejection (I think that's what it's called) improved to the point where you no longer have CHF?
I am on a diuretic, low sodium diet, and fluid restriction due to CHF. My heart had improved to 54% at my last cardi visit and I was wondering if it continues to improve would I no longer have CHF? Or do you have it forever? Thanks! Pam Posted on 10/13/09, 02:10 pm |

Hi Pam
I just found out that I had CHF when they put the defibrillator in. My mother had it also and died from it but she was 92. my ejection fraction is 27%. Doctor has me on medication, ACE inhibitors (lisinopril), Beta Blocker (carvedilol) and Diuretics (lasix). You can go to this web site for more information. https://www.google.com/health/ref/...
