Do any of you get PVCs? I get them all the time and now it's to the point that they effect my social interaction due to coughing and momentarily losing my breath.

" I'm experiencing tons of pvc's since my MI on 6/12/09. It's the beta blocker i'm on. I hate it. My Doc tried me on BB's 9 years ago in an attempt to lesson my pvc's.It made them worse. My quality of life stinks at the moment, but I realize I need the BB's so I'm very torn. "

" A PVC is a premature vascular contraction.

I had a lot of fluttering and 'itchy twitchy' feelings in my heart real bad for the first 2 weeks I was home. I called the cardiologist and talked to his nurse and she said it might be premature vascular contractions. A week later I started taking Xanax and they got better. I think it was anxiety, but I still have the fluttery itchy twitchy feeling occasionally.

Hope this helps.
