there is pariet , prevacid , and then there is Nexium they all do the same thing except they would be like the 3 little pigs when dealing with acid reflux pariet is about $1.00 per pill and is like the straw house , prevacid is about $2.00 per pill and is like the stick house , and finally Nexium is the most expensive @ a whopping $4.00 per pill and is like the brick house when dealing with acid reflux ...Pariet works to prevent that acid reflux which climbs into the throat at times and it works well but not as well as the other two ...as long as your husband eating correctly (avoiding acidic foods ) they should workvery well ...now regarding the issue of pain that just sounds a little odd to be treating heart pain with acid reflux medications and I question whether your husband has been tested for heart disease and cholestrol levels along with blood pressure . Using acid reflux meds to treat heart pain seems soooo unusual ?
