My name is Katie, no one is quite sure how I am HOH, as it could have been in-utro from a condition called Hydrocephalus that could have caused some brain damage, or from the brain surgeries, or from having so many loud machines on me when I was an infant fighting for life. Either way, regardless I'm HOH in the high tones, moderate to severe, low tones, I am oddly enough above normal hearing range. I do wear two earing aids.
I currently have the record with my audiologist for having the longest pair of hearing aid (2 till 12 years) without damage, repairing needed, or anything.
