new here but not new to ds. i usually am over in multiple personalities but got a hearing aid on 10/26 so here i am.
i'm 55, live with my 'guys' and 'girl' two cats and a dog - work full time in a psych hospital - ironic i know. i have several issues as well as hearing loss, migraine, anosmia (can't smell/taste) diverticulosis, gerd 2 head injuries, and herinated discs in my neck and lower back - causes weird symptoms but i consider myself healthy - i'm almost never sick. the worst is being dissociative and dealing with depression. in addition to working full time i go to school part time and my plan is to do both until i drop. i plan to be the oldest student in the state of florida, lol i hope to keel over at school or work when i'm 90 or something like that - i don't intend to retire from school or work. even if it's only part time because if i can keep busy it keeps me sane and keeps my inner world from flying apart.
