Hearing Loss & Deafness Support Group

i'm severly deaf and gradually got this way over the period of about 6 years. i was only moderately deaf since age 7. i wear hearing aides but they dont always work in noisey places and i can't hear the conversation so my partner and her family wants to learn with me ASL and we have no where around that teach classes to the community we have a univeristy that has a degree in sign language but you can't take the indivual classes. so how do you go about learning to sign. i have had three classes in my days but they have had none. i know the basic things but sentence structure and all that i have no clue how it suppose to go. if someone has any ideas i greatly appreciate them. tina
