I imagine that most of you have seen the film, 'The Matrix', where a virtual reality is created which is indistinguishable from the real world,
Now imagine a company which allowed you to go and spend 2 hours in complete Matrix level virtual reality and play out whatever sex fantacy you wished. Letting you out at the end is the whole point, often we are completely happy as we are and yet have a natural curiosity to experience life from another perspective. Consenting Sex between people who love each other is the highest expression of physical experience, so much so in fact that it goes beyond the pure physical and extends towards the shared intimacy of the couple. The interesting thing for me would be to see what the effect on the shared intimacy would be in changing the sexual dynamic. I would imagine that bonding would be greatly increased if this type of experience were possible.

I agree, flyingfree. Normally, all we have to go on are our interpretations and understandings of what our partner tells us, whether with words or in other ways. Those interpretations and understandings are not always accurate or timely, thus reducing the overall experience.
The concept of having such an intimate understanding of what your partner is experiencing, as well as their current and immediately upcoming needs, achieved by actually being there yourself for a time, is mind blowing. I believe it would be the closest one could come to actual oneness, Vulcan mind melds not withstanding.
