Biggest prob is my meds ie. Antidepressants, stress & fatigue. Im tired of being celibate (not by choice).

I have no personal experience with horney goat weed, nor do I know anyone who has. That said, I did some research on it and here is what I found (from Wikipedia, some paraphrasing, some cut and paste). Please note that everything found is in reference to men taking it.

Horney goat weed is one of about 60 species of the genus Epimedium, many of which are considered aphrodisiacs. The active ingredient is icariin.

Icariin is purported to work by increasing levels of nitric oxide, which relax smooth muscle. It has been demonstrated to relax rabbit penile tissue by nitric oxide and PDE-5 activity. From what else the article says, it acts in a manner similar to viagra.

My usual drug interaction checkers don't list this herb. I did find a reference that says you shouldn't use it if you're on blood thinners. Do due diligence since you are on other meds. The following is the one I found:

Thank you lovesthefeel, i did read up on it & thinking very seriously bout getting some. I have no heart probs, no medical probs, other than severe depression & the lack of sex doesnt help that either.

If u have any other suggestion on other herbal stuff, id be more than happy to get it.

From what I've read about herbal aphrodisiacs, a herb will work on either men or women but not both sexes - so if you decide to try one, make sure you're not taking one that works for men. (Think it's something to do with the way some plants imitate either male or female hormones.)

Hops contain a chemical that's very much like human eostrogen, so your best bet might be to drink beer ;)

Have you tried switching medications? I've been on just about every antidepressant out there and they all either killed my sex drive or I couldn't reach an orgasm. By accident I found that xanax worked. Had to have an mri on my back and I'm very claustrophobic so I was given that to help. I found that I felt better, so I called my pharmacist and asked him about it. He told me that it has a combination of different things in it that can work on many different areas.....depression, anxiety, nausea and more. So, far I've been taking it because it helped with a heart problem that I have....my heart just stops for no reason. The xanax helps keep my heart beating steady. But, my sex drive came back and I have extremely good orgasms now. Don't know if it would work for you, but it's worth checking into.
