50 million new patients? More primary docs a must

Because the president has said over the years that he wants a single payor system, I know we will eventually have government run healthcare.

But before we get to that point, wouldn't it make sense to first plant and grow enough doctors to replace the docs who don't want to work under a government run system?

" I totally agree, those interested in the field forthe sake of others and because he or she is gifted for that field. But, it's not just the doctors needed. we, the allied healthcare staff, are running around in this highly stressed field with no one speaking up for us. for every patient "packed in" there are orders written in which to clarify, assess for and act on as well as follow up on and monitor and chart for and cover all the liability steps required. Not to mention try to manage our own stress. Can I hear from anyone on that issue? "
