two years ago I had to purchase a dental partial, I did at affordable dentures. 750.00$ I am a singel mom on disability so it was hard to save up that money. At a dental check up they said That my crowns were infected and had to be replaced. I had to beg and borrow money for these. They told me that if I did not replace my crowns I would not be able to wear my partial. Everything was good, I wore the temperaries with my partials for 3 weeks. Then they put the permanent ones on and cemented them before checking sizes. Now my partials do not fit. Not at all. They are metal, I went straight to affordable dentures and he even said he would modify them for free, cause I was so upset. But the size difference is to much, A whole new one would half to be made. The dentist is acting like this my fault. Telling me that I will half to get new ones, I can't afford this, To me this looks like that this is my dentist responsability. Please any advice, I do not know what to do next, I did not want to spend my summer having no bottom teeth.

" I'd tell him that *he* should be making this right since he's the one you've paid good money to to fix this problem! I'd also say that if he didn't make things right, I was going to consult a lawyer. He can't do such shoddy work and expect you to just kep shelling out money! (It wouldn't hurt if you got a second opinion, too.) "

" He screwed up the job and he is responsible for fixing it. If you need a new plate it should come out of his pocket. Every state has a Consumer Protection Agency -- get hold of yours quick like a bunny! It's no joke when it's costing you hundreds of dollars for every mistake. "

" You might also tell that dentist if he doesn't make repairs you need you will report him to the Board that licences dentists. "
