my friend has lymphoma

I just found out my co-worker and friend most likely has lymphoma. She has been sick and thought she had a throat infection. Yesterday she said the whole side of her neck hurt and she went back to the dr. Today they sent her to the hospital and she called and told us this is what they think she has. Talk about out of the blue....

Any suggestions on what to say...how to help her. I feel so sad today. She is a good person and I'm real sorry this is happening to her. She has had a hard life already...
