This isn't for myself. This is for a friend of mine. He hasn't divulged a lot of details to me about this. He's a wonderful person though. Thoughtful and doesn't want others to worry about him. A month or so ago he found out that he has a tumor. From the details that he has given to me, I'm guessing that it's in his head, though I don't know for sure. He has been having a lot of migraines. And a couple of weeks ago he told me that he has started to bleed from his ears, eyes, and nose. I don't know about the progression of it. As I said before, he hasn't given me a lot of details. However, he has told me that he was waiting for the consulate to send his paperwork through so he could go back home for surgery. He's living in Texas right now and has been for the past six years. However, he's originally from Norway. The consulate has taken a while and has now told him that it's too much of a risk for him to go home. He told me that he doesn't want to die here, that he wants to be home. I feel so helpless to help him. A friend and I are trying to see if we can talk him into getting surgery done here in the states and see if we might be able to get some money together for him. Does anybody have any ideas? I'm not sure that a lot of information can be figured out from what little I was told. But, what more can be done? Are there any ideas? Please... If there's any chance that I can do something to help him live, I would more than gladly do it for him.
