well first of all...are you certain it's a wart? Have you already been diagnosed with HPV?? Before you start searching out treatments you need to make sure that this is what it is.

Well if you are going to the Dr they should be able to do one of several things....they can remove it by freezing it...or cutting it off. They can let you just wait it out......or you can get a cream (aldara) to apply at home. I think it depends on how big it is...what they will do for it.
Just be healthy....exercise, do not smoke...do not have sex without a condom with a guy who smokes (the chemicals in the cigarettes are in his semen and are then depositied right at your cervix). Take vitamins....and Omega 3's. Some people say folic acid....but my dr said the research is better on omega 3's than on folic acid. good luck!!

Hate to disagree w/ Christine...HOWEVER..folic acid is EXTREMELY important!!! Folic acid is ESSENTIAL for healthy cell growth. Insuffiecient levels of folic has been linked to increased risk for cervical dysplasia.
THAT BEING SAID.... there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to take both! I currently tale a multi w/ folic acid, L-lysine (both reccommended by my gyn..they support cell growth/maintenance/ and removal of damaged cells). I also started taking Papillex (found out about it from this and another hpv support community.) you should def check it out. We're not docs but we also know that sometimes doctors are incorrect/misinformed/ leave out "natural" ways that we can help our body's fight the virus while we wait or medical remedies. hope this helps...

I didn't say it wasn't important....do you just need to disagree with everything I say? I said the the research is not as good on the folic acid as with the Omega 3's. My dr is one of the best in the midwest and is a leading researcher. She participates in a number of FDA Researches and trials at any given time....so I 'm not just pulling that out of a hat.
