Hello all,
Someone else had posted that their doctor told them if she and her partner clean themselves off with rubbing alcohol after sex there is less of a chance of having a wart outbreak. I just got off the phone with my doctor and asked her about this. She said ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE! If you and your partner both have HPV, either of you could have an outbreak at any time, even if you are not having sex with each other at all. If you have the virus, it can manifest as a wart at any time - you don't have to rub parts together to have an outbreak. And just because one of you has a wart doesn't mean the other one will break out too. This is also why condoms do not protect you from outbreaks once you already have the virus. I saw that post too and thought that was one of the most ridiculous things I had read!! It also said to clean with Perioxide! I've also tried to debunked some other bad info being posted by someone...but she keeps posting after me tellling her info and saying "i just had to fix some mis information on here." ugh.
