I am excited because it appears that the condylox is working on my warts, I have an appointment with my gyno on June 11th so hopefully they will be able to tell me which HPV strain I have and if I have any warts that the condylox doesnt work on they will be able to remove. Since being diagnosed with HPV i have been down in the dumps, but now that some of the warts have disappeared I am starting to feel better about myself, and not so disgusting as I have been. I got diagnosed at the naval hospital and I havent been to the gyno yet, so I am just praying that the worst is over. If anyone has any advice for me or just any words of encouragement it would be greatly appreciated!

Good Luck! Everything will be fine. I was down too but HPV is not the worse thing to have. It's so common, treatable, and it doesn't LAST FOREVER! THANK GOD! Unfortuntely, I didn't have any luck with my gyno so I've been seeing a dermatologist. My dermatologist mentioned Condylox - does it burn? halloweengirl, VA

It burns but not intensely. I just did a little inspection and it appears that they have been clearing up quite a bit but it looks like I am getting one on the opening of my vagina (possibly from using tampons) but I am not completely sure if that is what it is...

My advice don't use tampons.
Don't especially during treatment and since yours are located in the vaginal opening area. Use pads in the meantime during your monthly.

It depends on how many you have and how your body reacts to this treatment. I would think one full cycle which is 3-4wks.

Most of mine are gone already and today is the third day I have been using it, so i guess it depends on your body. I only used tampons for the first two days because my ob told me i could, but now i am using pads.... which sucks, but its better than the alternative

How many cycles have you done? Mine are very small and I have only done one cycle. They appear to be gone. I made the mistake of using too much of the medicine and am all torn up so I need to take a longer break. but they don't appear to be there anymore.

I did one cycle of it, and everything is clear that i can see, i go to the doctor tomorrow so i will let you know for sure. i was pretty sore afterwards too.

Thanks. Let me know how it goes. I had a very bad reaction to condylox and had to go to the doctor. Very painful. I think that I may have put on too much of it.
